Ingredients
For the Soup:
1 Turkish coffee cup of rice (about ¼ cup)
7 cups of water
1 cup of yogurt
1 egg
A little more than ½ Turkish coffee cup of flour (about 2 tbsp)
3 tbsp vegetable oil
Salt
For the Topping:
2 tbsp butter
Dried mint
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Rice
1️⃣ In a pot, combine water, vegetable oil, salt, and rice.
2️⃣ Cook over medium heat until the rice softens.
Step 2: Prepare the Yogurt Mixture
1️⃣ In a separate bowl, whisk together yogurt, egg, and flour with about 1 cup of water until smooth.
Step 3: Combine & Cook
1️⃣ Once the rice is fully cooked, slowly add the yogurt mixture while stirring constantly.
