Immune-Boosting Spiced Chicken Soup

Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
2 tablespoon tomato paste
1 chicken breast (or 2 chicken thighs)
4 cups chicken broth (from boiled chicken)
1 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
Juice of half a lemon
Instructions
In a pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and stir constantly until golden brown.
Add the tomato paste and continue stirring for another minute to enhance the flavor.
In a separate pot, boil the chicken until fully cooked. Remove the chicken and shred it into small pieces.
Slowly add the chicken broth to the tomato-flour mixture while stirring to create a smooth consistency.
Add the shredded chicken to the soup and mix well.
Season with cumin, chili flakes, black pepper, and turmeric. Let the soup simmer for 5 more minutes to blend the flavors.
Just before serving, squeeze in the fresh lemon juice for a bright, tangy finish.
